Meet the Board of Directors

Jillian Althoff
Board Chair

Jillian Althoff received her B.A., Magna Cum Laude, from Capital University (2003), majoring in Athletic Training and Psychology, and received her post-baccalaureate teacher license through Ashland University (2009), specializing in Middle Childhood Education with a concentration in mathematics and science. She volunteered with the Special Olympics from 2000-2003. Mrs. Althoff worked in two high schools as an Athletic Trainer from 2003-2005 before taking her current position as an Athletic Trainer in a medical office in 2005. During this time she obtained her teacher license and took several leaves of absences in order to student teach and take a long-term substitute position. Mrs. Althoff has 14 years experience in working with the public. She has excellent communication and management skills and is very knowledgeable in and passionate about science and the medical field. She is keenly interested in the Corporationís mission as she knows and understands firsthand the emotional struggle these parents and families are faced with during this difficult time.

Timothy Althoff
Vice Chair, Board Chair-Elect

Timothy Althoff received his B.S. from Capital University (2004), majoring in Computer Science. Mr. Althoff has been employed by a small information technology consulting company since 2005 where he has been a network administrator, constructed and maintained websites, and worked directly with businesses of varying sizes on technology operations. Mr. Althoff was promoted to a managerial position in 2008 and oversees all network technicians. He is organized and has excellent management skills. He is passionate about the mission of CTA and interested in helping other families experiencing the loss of an infant.

Mindy Skinner

Mindy Skinner received her B.A. from Capital University (2004), majoring in Athletic Training, and received her post-baccalaureate teacher license through Capital University (2005), specializing in Early Childhood Education. She volunteered with the Special Olympics from 2001-2004. While working as an Athletic Trainer at a high school from 2005-2007, and a second grade teacher at an elementary school since 2007, Mrs. Skinner has been in charge of adhering to a strict budget, ordering supplies, maintaining accurate records, reports, and files, and many other administrative duties. She is experienced in researching and developing grant proposals, and has served on several committees, including grant, social, and blood drive committees. Mrs. Skinner is very organized and has excellent communication skills.
